On one side, the breakfast room opens on to thick stone walls dating back to the house's medieval origins. On the other, it spills into the conservatory. According to the season -or to your mood- you can breakfast in the main room or in the garden.

The conservatory, which links the hotel's two wings, is the former stable block where the sitting room and bar are housed. In summer, the sitting room's wide French windows open on to a little pedestrian street, which used to delineate the sentry's walk in medieval times. But at the first chill, the big fireplace and deep armchairs will beckon, for a drink, a chat or just to daydream by the crackling embers.
